A Blessing From Finland
A gift from Concurrido kennel in Finland, Dicha ("good fortune"
in Spanish) arrived in the US in late 2007. She lives with herding
friends in Connecticut.
Dicha is fondly referred to as Lynnette's
"little experiment"--what sort of natural herding instinct does this
Finnish puppy bring? Outside of Spain, little is known about how the
Spanish Water Dog breed works. The learning curve is steep with this
breed!
Dicha's herding instinct kicked in around 4 months of age.
She enjoys moving stock (goats, sheep, geese) around the farm. It is
likely she'll enter AKC tests as soon as she comes of age.
